Notes from the winemaker:

This is the first Cabernet Sauvignon that we have bottled. The grapes came from our Estate Block #10 representing 1 acre of Cabernet Sauvignon clone #337. This clone was chosen because it has the least amount of vegetal flavors. The overall yield from that block was about 2 tons. We made the wine in our 2 ton Fermentation Tank and aged for almost 2 years in French oak barrels.

This is a well balanced wine with concentrated flavors, complexity, finesse and excellent structure. The dark berry and cherry aromas become more complex on the palate adding layers of black current, plum and black cherry accented with vanilla oak and spice. More dark fruit combined with vanilla, coffee and spice linger on in the long finish. This blend is interesting since you can identify the components which blend together in perfect harmony.
