 Winemaker's Notes:

"Southern Exposure" is our trade mark for our premium wines. Among the three Syrahs that I made this vintage year, I feel this one is the best.

This Syrah reminds me of an old world wine. It has a deep color with dark berry aromas. It has very concentrated flavors of dark berries which carry to the palate adding layers of black cherry, spice and smoke. This well balanced wine has an abundance of the savory type flavors such as bacon and mushroom.  The wine finishes with a long and lingering finish adding herbal, spicy and smoky flavors. This is a big wine worthy of aging for several years for optimum quality.
